This was another banner year for Boating Under the influence tickets. From KIRO:

Police made a record number of drunk boating arrests last year at Seafair with nearly 100 BUIs over the big weekend. So far, over two of the three day period, police said just a fraction of those stops have been made.

Seattle police have made 23 boating under the influence (BUI) arrested between Friday and Saturday at Seafair, said Jeff Kappel of the Seattle Police Department.

The Washington State Patrol reported they made 31 BUI arrests Saturday, bringing the total of BUI arrests to 54.

Seattle police also made one domestic violence arrest at Seafair and police issued eight parking violations for people parking in disabled/handicapped parking spots.

Seattle Lawyers throughout the State will be addressing these cases.
